Operation
CSS series coolers are designed to cool and condition the ground cocoa press cakes exiting the crusher, playing a crucial role in the initial stage of product stabilisation.
These machines act as indirect heat exchangers, reducing the temperature of the grounds from 90°C to around 40/45°C. This process prepares the product for transportation to the successive stages of processing, preventing the risk of contamination that high-temperature grounds are subject to.
Advanced technical solutions
The adoption of advanced solutions, such as multiple cooling chambers and a dry-air feed system, allows impact to be modulated and permits the precise adjustment of the cooling process as desired. This approach efficiently stops moisture from forming during the cooling process.

The CSS series coolers can cool up to 1000 kg/h, guaranteeing efficient management of the production process.
